Eric Ulrich, here under the watchful eye of Board of Elections executive director Mike Ryan, had trouble casting his ballot which was rejected by 2 scanners. His ballot was voided & he tried again, succeeding on the 2nd ballot. Ulrich Votes 2/26/19
Culprit
Self-sufficiency is not always best: The cause of Eric Ulrich's initial ballot being rejected? Not the Board of Elections. Ulrich used his own sharpie to mark his 1st ballot & the ink bled thru the paper, causing the scanner to reject it according to Board of Elections Executive Director Mike Ryan as he points to the offending sharpie.
